Step 5 – Google Ads Optimization – Check Your PPC Ad Groups

GOOGLE ADS OPTIMIZATION – CHECK YOUR AD GROUPS // In this VERY quick video, we’re checking our ad groups to determine if we’re following Google Best Practices.

Having ad groups with keywords that are all paused, or that are just empty, is a very easy way to get on Google’s bad side. In fact, this is what we call a Google Best Practice. Making sure that all ad groups that are “active” have keywords that are RUNNING inside of them.

If you have an ad group with keywords that are all paused or removed (hence, an empty ad group), make sure that you either pause that ad group (at the ad group level), or remove that ad group from your campaign.
